This buck was killed in Zapata County in South Texas east of Laredo. I saw him chasing a doe across a sendero and moved a tripod close to the spot so that he would be within range if he crossed there again. Three days later, two bucks had a fight that I could hear going on for several minutes a few hundred yards away but could not see a thing. About 20 minutes later a 20" 10 point 140 class buck that must have been the loser came dragging by me. Shortly thereafter this buck came through the brush moving very slowly and feeding all the way. He was only 20 yards away when I finally was able to get a clearing to make the shot. Sure enough, I had moved the tripod close enough!!
