Los Cuernos is one of the newer big buck contests held in south Texas. The contest is held in Carrizo Springs in Dimmit County and the award ceremony was held at Crawford Farms on March 28, 1998. The pictures shown below were some of the great examples on display of fine deer taken in south Texas. Although this is only one of the many contests conducted in the region, in this one alone over 30 deer were registered that exceeded 160 B&C gross scores. Enjoy the pictures of some fine deer even though the background is not very conducive to showing off the antlers to their best advantage.
